Creating Healthy Boundaries

Creating healthy boundaries is so important when it comes to your health, well-being, and business. These limits that you set to protect yourself and your experience can be physical, mental, or emotional. When you lack boundaries, you may feel anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed, especially when it comes to your relationships with others or your work.

The truth is that boundaries create flow and ease within interactions and relationships. When you set boundaries, you are setting standards for others on how to treat you, which can strengthen and deepen your relationships. Setting boundaries will often help you weed out aligned vs. toxic relationships and commitments in your life.

If you are a people pleaser, setting boundaries can be difficult, but they will also empower you. But here’s the awesome thing – when you love and value yourself and your experience, you no longer become dependent on others for validation and joy.

Boundaries help you realize your personal standards. They can help you become more aligned with your highest, best, and most authentic self and also help you release things, people, and commitments that are no longer serving you. Here are some ways to create healthy boundaries:

  • – Create boundaries in the body, not the mind.
  • – Feel into your boundaries to make sure they feel aligned and GOOD to you.
  • – Communicate your boundaries with love.
  • – Reserve the right to change your mind.

I am a recovering “people pleaser”!!! And my lack of healthy boundaries was so linked to this. The more I believe in myself, the easier it has been to create boundaries that feel good to me.
