Executive Assistant to the CEO
Hungry for Happiness is looking for a new Executive Assistant to join our epic team of humans! (Woop woop!) 

Here at Hungry for Happiness, it’s our mission to help the world heal from disordered eating and body image issues by addressing the underlying and individual emotional root causes that fuel the struggle with food and body. Through our coaching services, products, and Coach Certification Program, we use our signature emotional and energetic coaching framework to help people experience true, sustainable transformation and happiness. You will also be supporting the mission and work of our sister company, Pause Breathwork, where we help people clear anxiety and stress through the power of the breath.

Role: Executive Assistant to the CEO

Reports to: Samantha Skelly, CEO, and Pam Przybylski, Director of Business Operations

Job Type: Contract Employee (20 hours a week)

Location: Southern California (Solana Beach, CA) In person 2-3 days/week and also virtual flexibility as well. 

Mission of the Role:

The mission of this role is to provide focused and diligent high-level administrative support to the founder of the company, Samantha Skelly. This includes managing her calendar and travel schedule, internal and external communications on behalf of Samantha, preparing spreadsheets, managing podcast bookings and speaking engagement bookings, research, and support with social media when needed. This role works closely with Samantha, ensuring all important details are taken care of on a daily basis. You must be a ninja at attention to detail, communication, and organization.
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, including all scheduling and communications regarding scheduling for both professional and personal appointments.
  • Manage CEO’s email inbox, including daily correspondence on behalf of CEO.
  • Book all professional and personal travel and accommodations.
  • Help maintain CEO’s trello board (for project management & current tasks).
  • Provide support for all CEO speaking engagements, including pitching, scheduling, communications, travel, and preparation.
  • Attend internal team meetings to liaison with team as needed.
  • Complete expense reports as needed.
  • Other tasks as required.

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Manage all Hungry for Happiness & Pause Breathwork social media accounts and groups, which includes content creation and distribution as well as engagement and growth strategies for Instagram and Facebook.
  • Manage and disseminate all incoming customer service, support, and general info requests for the company, ensuring all inquiries are resolved by the appropriate company stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative and operational support as it relates to Hungry for Happiness & Pause Breathwork paid programs, products, and services.
  •  Oversee our Facebook community manager and other social media support team members.
  • Support the Operations Team in planning and executing live events, retreats, workshops, conferences, and team-building events.
  • Manage our Brand Partnerships Program, which includes recruiting, overseeing, and communicating with our Brand Ambassadors and Micro-Influencers.
  • Format and schedule daily blog posts in Wordpress and Kajabi.
  • Support the Marketing Department with writing as needed (blog posts, social media content, etc.)
  • Create graphic design assets in Canva as needed.
  • Other tasks as required.

Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 3 years experience as an Executive Assistant.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect an ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. 
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.  
  • Excellent communicator. 
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and productivity skills.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to easily learn and implement new software and platforms.
  • Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, and research skills.
  • You are comfortable offering suggestions on how processes can be improved.
