ARE YOU STUCK IN THE DIET/BINGE CYCLE?

If you're anything like I was in my diet depression days, I'm guessing you:

Maybe you've just accepted that you'll always struggle with food & body, and this is as good as it gets.

Instead, what if:

You understood the core of your struggle with food and learned how to stop using it as a drug.

You embraced your body, flaws and all, and stopped obsessing over the number on the scale.

You connected with your intuition and deep inner wisdom to live a life that lights you up.

I'll show you how to heal your relationship to food and body once and for all.

“Hungry for Happiness is not just a book, it’s a movement. A body of work that perfectly explains how to shift inner battles to create the body and life you desire.”

“Hungry For Happiness will destroy and break away the parts of you that are holding you back from your truth, and awaken the parts of you that have been forgotten. Samantha will guide you on a journey to find deep peace in the places within yourself you’ve been resisting to visit.”

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Motivating the Masses, Inc

“Hungry for Happiness is a genuinely useful (and entertaining) book about discovering the weight that feels right for you. Samantha Skelly is the perfect kind of guide for your journey: she’s been there, and she radiates the kind of clarity and compassion you can only get from dealing with weight struggles yourself.

“You’ll never get through this – you will be stuck in the diet/binge cycle for life.”

Those words were spoken to me multiple times a day.

My inner critic burnt pain into my body on a daily basis. I could never quite “hear” myself, as my overbearing inner critic was on constant loudspeaker.

Each time I heard these words, I believed them. I assumed this struggle was mine for life, it was just something I had to deal with because I had tried everything to get over it.

Fast forward 10 years.

Not only have I sustainably healed emotional eating, I’ve helped 23,000 people do the same.

And now it’s your turn.

The struggle you are experiencing is temporary. Right in this moment, it may not seem like that’s the case but, my love, this too shall pass.

The struggle isn’t part of who you are, it’s simply just a part of your journey. I promise you, this will make you stronger in the long term. Moving through the pain of emotionally eating will give you a deep strength you never knew possible.

...and I can’t wait to witness you move through that transformation, there is nothing more empowering.

Hungry For Happiness

It’s now your time to reconnect with your intuition, embrace your body, and heal your relationship with food. Within the pages of this book you’ll find your way home, you’ll understand the core of your food struggles and exactly how to find food freedom, once and for all.

Samantha's story is as powerful as it is compelling. In the pages of her book, I found a lot of my own journey and struggle. With incredibly vivid imagery, Sam pulls you into her experience with an eating disorder and how she recovered to live the life she lives today.

This book was brilliantly written with so much information that was so on point. I just finished and will start reading it again. Anyone that struggles with addiction, or constant mind chatter should read this book.

Refreshingly honest. I adored the transparency that she shed on an, extremely common but never talked of, inner experience of guilt, shame and self loathing. Women often feel alone and isolated in the battle of disordered eating, this author is changing that mindset. I am so thankful that we have people like her to lead the way and help all women love their bodies and repair their relationship with food for good. So inspired!!!!

Thank God for women like Samantha! Her courage and strength radiate off each page! It is such a blessing to read a book that describes my own struggles in a way that made me not only feel less alone but also managed to give me actual tools to start healing and to see my body & relationship to food in a new light. A definite must read!!!

Fantastic read and teaching about how to have a better relationship with yourself and food. Samantha is raw and vulnerable which makes her real and easy to relate to. She is also sassy and so like able. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has tried every different diet and wants to end the battle with weight.

I'm not quite finished but just had to write a review. I totally agree with all the 5 star reviews here. Put all of your diet/exercise books away and READ THIS RIGHT NOW! I've been struggling with my weight since I was a teenager and of course hating myself in the process. For the first time, I can see a compassionate path ahead. There are powerful insights on almost every page. I've been taking my time with this book and even started a matching journal. I read a few pages, then do some journal writing. Then I read some more and journal some more. Then I do one of the exercises (there's one at the end of each chapter). Every few days, I go back and re-read my notes - sometimes I add to them, as my understanding expands. I need to go this slowly because while I understand what she's saying intellectually, I know the real work is in feeling it in my body and my heart, which is so much harder. It's almost like I'm learning a foreign language. But somehow she makes it feel manageable. This book is a wonderful support for looking at the emotional reasons behind your food issues. So please don't listen to all those people who say maintaining a healthy weight is as easy as 'calories in, calories out.' That may be true for some people, but not everyone and certainly not me. They simply don't understand. Well, this author does. Do yourself a favour and read this book. You are worth it.
