Episode 026: How to Effectively Communicate Your Needs with Lisa Kaplin
This episode with Lisa Kaplin is all about getting over the fear of voicing our truth and creating a clear channel of communication. You know something I see constantly with my clients is the fear of speaking up because we're afraid of rejection and something I always say to them is it's not rejection, it's re-direction. As children we were taught to be quiet, fit in, just accept what’s given to us and follow the rules because that’s the respectful thing to do. So as evolved women when we want to speak out, wr second guess ourselves and think, “What if they don’t like me?”, “What if I'm not loved?”, “What if I'm rejected?” Lisa does a great job explaining how to get out of this mindset so we can feel worthy and deserving and truly just ask for and get what we want.
