In a world where stereotypes are unintentionally programmed into our natural source code, it is easy to view certain habits as totally normal and acceptable. Melissa Monte, mindset mentor and podcast host, was slowly becoming a victim of this circumstance, building up some of these habits which were slowly brewing into an addiction. But with a history of trouble-landing addiction, she was able to feel out the development.

Melissa was an alcohol binge drinker; taking casual glasses of wine at thanksgiving, unconsciously reenacting movie scenes like grabbing a glass of wine to watch the sunset and having a couple of bottles of alcohol at a hangout for the culture.

But once she had her baby, it was a concrete stamp on her resolution to quit drinking alcohol She made big preparations and educated herself about her big decision and in the process found out the untold truths about alcohol.
