Erin is my right hand, my work-wife, my COO, my friend. She is just so many things to me and to Hungry for Happiness. She is the brains, she's the engine. When you think of an iceberg, I am the tip of the iceberg that you guys can all see cuz I’m the head coach of Hungry for Happiness and the face of the brand. I do all the speaking and reading the books but Erin runs the whole machine.

She oversees all the departments, she's an incredible person, and in this episode we talk about the CEO/COO partnership and how her and I have been able to work together so that we can truly create this incredible movement that we are working on. It's so interesting, a lot of you have asked me about it, sent me DM’s about it, and have submitted podcast requests for me to talk about it, and so I really just wanted to get her on the show so we could just really dive into what it takes to have the partnership that we have. For those of you guys who follow us on Instagram or see us at events and things like that, we talk a lot, we joke a lot, and it may look like it's all shiny all the time.

I want to assure you it's not. What you're going to be able to discover through this episode is that our partnership is so solid and so concrete because we know how to navigate conflict. We know how to really move into difficult conversations and furthermore both of us are so highly committed, not only to the partnership and the relationship of the business, but with our personal work as well. That is one of the most important things when you're getting into business with someone or in or in a relationship or whatever it is. Is the other person taking emotional responsibility for their experience and not projecting it onto the other person? So Erin and I have a conversation to just really help navigate the waters of partnership and so much of what we talked about in this episode is relatable to romantic partnership as well. A lot of the strategies that her and I share in this episode is so transferable to other other relationships or friendships are things like that as well. Because at the end of the day, her and I are also extremely good friends. I wanted to bring her on so you guys so we can lift the hood of Hungry for Happiness, if you will, and really show you and teach you how a really concrete partnership works to create a super sustainable and scalable business and creating a culture that people really want to work at. I'm so excited to have you listen to it enjoy.
